Imagine the Harlem GlobeTrotters in elementary school, and you’ll understand the NetWorks Ballhandling Team experience.

Ballhandling is the single most important skill in the game of basketball. The Ballhandling Team is a skill performance team that practices once a week. The Team members perform in various locations in their communities, with the facility determined by agreement with a partner organization. The Team is for anyone and everyone, boys and girls, grades 1st through 6th.

In most locations, the NetWorks Ballhandling Team has two sessions, one in the fall and one in the winter. Each session is 10 to 12 weeks long with teammates attending one 90-minute practice per week. Team members are given ballhandling homework each week between practices.

The Ballhandling Team experience is an environment that intentionally challenges teammates to work hard, to work smart and to have fun in the process. Over the years, it has proven to be a very effective character development program for players of all ages and stages, which happens to be wrapped in a basketball uniform.
